Globalization and international business, as well as technological innovation, have had a significant influence on healthcare around the world, including Zambia. Nowadays, most organizations are producing value with multiple partners and players by exploiting digital and innovation platforms in many areas of society. Current research, to the best of my knowledge, is still dependent on traditional methodologies and has yet to embrace interorganizational collaboration of digital transformation. In the previous few decades, the healthcare NGO has achieved a variety of goals thanks to novel ideas, leadership styles, and management digitization initiatives. With the expansion of various healthcare services and the Covid pandemic, there was a need for creative and digital infrastructures for sending information for various platforms, devices, and software in order to improve healthcare services in the region. Peer-topeer information exchange has been allowed through innovation and digitalized platforms to build new capabilities and work with other rivals. Advances in digital technology provide up new opportunities for the creation of new goods and services. The primary goal of this article is to better understand the tactics and procedures that have resulted in creative breakthroughs in leadership styles in the healthcare NGO field. This is a qualitative study which will use in depth literature review and other non-governmental organisation data in Zambia with the intent to collect and review the various information about innovation and digitalization in their organisation in last decade or more about the changes in their work culture to improved service delivery and way of business to sustain stability and long term relationship with partners and stakeholders. I will attempt to offer a comprehensive and methodical discussion of what goes into supporting conventional solutions and why. Finally, I will focus on specific issues and concerns that are severely testing NGO health care systems....
The ever-changing environment required non-profits to adapt more effective leadership skills. This study provides an understanding of the characteristics of competent non-profit organization leaders. A qualitative phenomenology methodology was used, with 15 individual in-depth interviews with leaders from a non-profit organization in Saudi Arabia, leading the data collection process. Thematic analysis was applied to generate themes. The results revealed six main leadership competencies in the non-profit sector: 1) passion and altruism, 2) organizational advocacy, 3) instilling community support, 4) focus and strategy, 5) trust and delegation, and 6) continuous self-learning and agility. The findings suggest that leaders in different non-profit leadership organizations should possess six categories of competency to overcome internal and external challenges effectively. The study’s findings contribute to the understanding and exploration of the nature of leadership competencies in non-profit organizations, and can be beneficial to similar contexts....
In this paper, the portfolio management problem with stochastic wage income and inflation risk for CRRA investors is solved. In real life, investors experience stochastic wage income and inflation risk. This could be due to events such as COVID-19, fiscal policy, financial policy adjustments, and climate change. We consider an agent who invests in the financial market with one risk-free security (e.g. a money market account or bond) and one risky security (e.g. a stock or stock index). Our goal is to choose the optimal controls that maximize the objective function in order to obtain the value function. By applying Dynamic Programming Principle, we determine the HJB PDE. Solving the HJB PDE, we establish the value function and optimal controls....
[Background] The youth organization is a group organization of advanced youth led by our government, a school for the majority of youth to learn socialism with Chinese characteristics in practice, an assistant and reserve army of the organization, and a leadership core of the nation’s youth. [Objective] To systematically grasp the development trend of academic research on the construction and development of student organizations in China, to form the main framework of research on the construction and development of youth organizations, and to provide an important reference for the subsequent research work on the construction and development of youth organization groups. [Methods] Using the corresponding analysis function of the bibliometric visualization tool CiteSpace, we present an overview of the research on the construction and development of student organizations in China, clarify the research network and research hotspots formed by the research results of different scholars, and propose the direction of further development of the research on the construction and development of student organizations in the future. Based on Invariance Principle for Brownian Motion, we obtained a closed-form expression of the ruin probability for the Discrete-Time Risk Model with Random Premiums that was recently introduced by Korzeniowski [1]. We show that in this model, given two strategies that have the same probability of ultimate ruin, the strategy with larger initial capital and smaller loading factor is less risky than the strategy with smaller initial capital and larger loading factor in that it lowers the probability of ruin on the finite time horizon....
